Resume-MCP is now ApplyJobFaster, living at applyjobfaster.com. It is the same product, built by the same team, with the same account and resumes you already have. Only the name and the address changed. Here is the short version of what happened and why.
Why the new name
The original name, Resume-MCP, described how the product was built: it started as a Model Context Protocol server for AI assistants. That was useful shorthand for developers, but it told most people nothing about what the tool actually does. The new name says it directly. ApplyJobFaster is about one promise: turn any job post into a tailored, sent application in under 60 seconds.
What stays exactly the same
This is a rebrand, not a rebuild. Nothing about how you use the product has changed:
- Your account, saved resumes, credits, and Gmail connection all carry over. No re-signup, no data migration on your side.
- The workflow is identical: create a master resume, tailor it to a job description, and send the application email from your own Gmail.
- The Telegram bot, web dashboard, and MCP server all keep working.
- Pricing and credits are unchanged.
What actually changed
Two things: the brand name (Resume-MCP becomes ApplyJobFaster) and the primary domain (resume-mcp.site becomes applyjobfaster.com). Your old links are not broken. The previous domain now redirects to the new one, so existing bookmarks, shared links, and search results continue to work while everything settles onto the new address.
One thing MCP users should update
If you connect the tool to Claude or another AI assistant through the Model Context Protocol, update your server URL to the new SSE endpoint:
Point your MCP client at https://applyjobfaster.com/mcp/sse, then save and restart the client. The resume tools reconnect automatically. That is the only manual step, and it only applies to MCP users. If you use the web app or the Telegram bot, there is nothing for you to do.
Same mission, clearer name
The goal has not moved: make applying to jobs fast, tailored, and sent from your own inbox, without the busywork. A name that says exactly that felt overdue. Thanks for being here through the change. If anything looks off on the new domain, reach out and we will fix it quickly.
Try ApplyJobFaster or head straight to your dashboard.
